I'll borrow from the writing of Bill O'Brien Jr. as he entered the following text into the Mossy logbook back in 1983: "On the 80th anniversary of the founding year of ....... the Pulaski Rod & Gun Club, this Mossy Spring log book is dedicated in memory of ...."

I'll add the following names who have since passed on, as I dedicate this website to these members along with all of the past members and visitors, including the present Mossy families. I feel certain that most of you that have had the opportunity to visit this Gasconade valley, share the love I have for this place we call "Mossy Springs."  jkh

It is my hope & dream that Mossy Springs can stay much the same as it is now for another 100 years. "May those coal oil lamps that sit on the fireplace mantle stay and occasionally be burned to remind us of what it was like at Mossy in years gone by and that we will be part of Mossy's heritage for generations that follow us." I'm not sure who penned the words in the following paragraph, but I think it goes straight to the heart of what Mossy is all about.  jkh

"We give thanks to their love and affection for this spring and river valley which time has all but passed by..... and leaving us their heritage of a way of life which refreshes our mind and body while bringing joy and peace to our soul."
